Curs Modular d'Implantologia

The first module, Introduction to Implantology and Anatomy Review, will be given by Dr. Jesús López Vilagran on September 21 and 22. It includes theory, planning with Implant Studio and an implant positioning workshop. The second module is headed by Dr. Julen Arocena and will be based on soft tissue management and also includes a section on theory and two workshops: one on sutures with sponges or chickens and the other on incisions, flaps and grafts on pig heads. The third module is on implant prosthetics and will take place on November 16 and 17. Led by Dr. Jon Gurrea, it will include theory as well as a workshop on conventional impression taking, a workshop on TRIOS intraoral scanner impression taking, a workshop on immediate provisionalization and production of an immediate resin jaw prosthesis and a workshop on patient-based impression. The fourth and final module will feature live surgery, taught jointly by the three aforementioned professors. The module will take an in-depth look at live surgery for the topics dealt with in the previous modules, with special attention to handling complications in implantology and a discussion of clinical cases.
